Disaster Recovery & Cyber Security

At Avalie Digital, we were pleased to partner with Housing Plus Group, a leading Housing Association, to develop and update a robust Disaster Recovery Plan for their digital team over the past few months. Recognising the critical importance of DRP, our team worked diligently to create a comprehensive plan tailored to their specific needs. This included establishing a clear responsibilities matrix, assessing staff capabilities, and developing detailed recovery plans. We also prioritised user adoption by providing user-friendly training guides. Our collaborative approach, including regular monthly updates with the Housing Plus Group IT team, ensured a transparent and effective process. We are confident that this DRP will provide Housing Plus Group with the resilience and preparedness for any future disruptions

Avalie Digital partnered with Housing Plus Group, a leading Housing Association, to undertake a foundational Enterprise Architecture initiative. Our aim was to provide a clear and comprehensive understanding of their IT landscape. We meticulously mapped applications to their underlying servers, aligned business capabilities with specific application functionalities, and developed a full architectural design using the Archimate system. This crucial groundwork, coupled with the creation of a responsibilities matrix and staff capability assessment, laid a strong foundation for future strategic IT decisions. Our team played a pivotal role in delivering security assurance for the strategic plans of the Synergy Shared Services ERP system, a collaborative effort across the Ministry of Justice, Department for Work and Pensions, Home Office, and DEFRA. Acting as their dedicated security architects, we provided meticulous scrutiny and expert guidance on the proposed design and implementation methodologies.
